I'm Lucy, also known as Cleo Moon.

​

An artist, writer,  mum to identical  twin girls, living by the seaside in beautiful Devon. 

 

I love to escape into magical worlds, creating them either through painting or imagining them through stories and poetry. My aim is to create work with  layers of meaning, inviting people to connect with it in their own way and find their own resonance within it. 

​

I studied Art & Creative Writing at Bath Spa University in 2004, before qualifying and working as a teacher. Following the arrival of my twins, I focused on family life while continuing to nurture my creative practice.

​

During this time I remained actively involved in the arts, volunteering on the committee of my local art club as communications secretary, where I helped to plan, prepare and publicise twice-yearly exhibitions, as well as manage the website and social media. 

​

As my children have grown older, I have been able to return more fully to my art and writing. I am now focusing on my current book, Elowen, alongside painting magical worlds.
